KSW-Motorsport is getting ready for the new Formel ADAC season, as the team takes on two newcomers in 2013 for the first time ever, and promising youngster Martin Gatz will partner Kim Alexander Giersiepen. Team boss Carsten Knüpp: "Having two cars on the grid for the first time in 2013 represents a bit of a quantum leap for us."
Gatz has already shown his talent in testing. At the Red Bull Ring, in Hockenheim and at the Lausitzring, the 17-year-old effortlessly put in a number of test kilometres in a Formel ADAC racing car, making a very positive impression.
KSW-Motorsport hopes to take a major step forward in the coming season with Giersiepen and Gatz on board. Data engineer Gerd Hickethier: "This opens up completely new possibilities for us as regards data processing and analysis, since it is very much the case that drivers able to deal quickly with information and instructions can find the limits and progress developments faster." KSW Motorsport finished seventh in the team standings last season on 13 points.
